During the meeting, a report was given on the positive reception and interest generated by the Chair’s initiatives and the PROCARE programmes run by the Jaén Provincial Council during their participation in the National Meeting on Youth Participation in Europe, organised by the Kaebnai association under the supervision of the Spanish National Agency and the Basque Government’s Directorate for Youth, held in Hondarribia (Guipúzcoa).

This is a national gathering of young people, experts and youth policy-makers who promote youth participation initiatives in Europe, funded through the Erasmus+ programme.

Secondly, the management team provided an update on the meeting scheduled for 21 July with the Secretary of State from the Ministry of Youth and Children, as part of the summer course organised by our colleagues Lourdes Espinosa and Marivi Carpio.

Thirdly, a report was given on the Chair’s inclusion in the Alliance for Knowledge promoted by the ONCE Foundation, the Observatory on Unwanted Loneliness. Finally, the Provincial Council team provided an update on the status of Jaén’s bid to become a ‘Tour of Talent’ city, which has the Chair’s support.

The previous minutes were then approved, and the expenditure incurred to date was presented, along with a decision to maintain the budget for the publication of the award, *Ícaro* and the conference, all of which are scheduled for October.

It was then agreed to put forward nominations for membership of the Chair at the next meeting.

Subsequently, preparations for the October conference continued, and support was given to the study of the design and impact of a UJA degree programme aimed at promoting the health and emotional wellbeing of adolescents and young people, supported by the Chair.
