Furthermore, as part of a meeting organised by the Princess of Girona Foundation to share the educational priorities of the Foundation’s new strategic plan and to facilitate discussion, Luis Joaquín García and Lourdes Espinosa outlined the objectives and initiatives currently being undertaken by the PROMOBIENESTAR Chair https://catedrapromobienestar.es/en/the-management-of-the-promobienestar-university-chair-representing-the-monitoring-committee-disseminates-and-transfers-knowledge-about-it-to-the-team-at-the-princess-of-girona-foundation-and-the-per/
We are pleased to announce that the Chair has been invited to attend an event in Madrid on unwanted loneliness and the ‘Tour de Talento’ organised by the Princess of Girona Foundation and Casa SM El Rey in Granada.
In addition, we would like to inform you of the invitation to attend the Working Group for Strategic Area 8: Jaén – healthy, inclusive and equal for social cohesion and well-being, organised by the Estrategias Foundation.
This committee is responsible for advising on the new strategic planning process for the development of the Jaén 2030 Strategy.
Finally, an update was provided on the progress made in drafting the 2025–2028 Action Plan for the Youth Strategy, drawn up by INJUVE, the Ministry of Youth and Children.
The meeting then approved the previous minutes and analysed the results of the first micro-credential programme held in April, based on data broken down by satisfaction with the teaching staff and each of the modules, using a Google Form.
The ratings obtained exceeded 9 out of 10 across all variables analysed, and the majority were above 9.5. Suggestions for improvement focused on increasing the number of hours devoted to the module on suicide prevention, the triage tool and the Proademo guide.
Subsequently, the Chair’s support was approved for an event aimed at raising awareness and providing education on the impact of toxic relationships on young people, led by co-director Lourdes Espinosa. During the questions and comments session, one request was to consider the option of the Chair contributing to the continuation of DIGITAS’s activities from 2027 onwards.
